The Zichru Learning Program will help schools maximize their educational offering in a number of ways:

1. An enhanced Yedios Klalios Curriculum.
Instead of having students memorize lists and lists of important facts and dates which often feels like painful grunt work with little long term gain and mastery, Zichru is based on a systematic, big picture approach to learning.

Context is king and everything in Zichru is presented in a way to help students grasp the meaning of an event, concept or personality within a larger structure. Once one layer of knowledge is provided, it’s easier to get to the next level of detail because it’s filling in a picture the students already have.

Zichru also provides schools with a multiyear curricula that uses a consistent framework to furnish long term mastery. Instead of giving different booklets of new lists of facts to memorize each year, Zichru builds layer upon layer upon knowledge already gained and not forgotten. The learning experience is one of deepening one’s understanding of a subject with greater integrated mastery of detail instead of jumping each year to a different set of disassociated lists.

In a nutshell imagine graduating a student from eighth grade with bekiyus in Chumash, Taryag Mitzvos, Nach and Shas Mishnayos. Imagine them walking into High School or Mesivta with all of the material at their fingertips and ready to use in a clear, organized way. That’s the goal of Zichru.

2. Subject Specific Curricula

The Zichru Program can be used to enhance the learning of a specific subject. Teachers will have access to the program that suits their needs specifically. My goal is to make Zichru available in Chumash, Taryag Mitzvos, Nach and Shas Mishnayos.

The Zichru Learning Program will feature:

a. Video Lesson Modules
b. Powerpoint Lesson Modules so teachers can teach the lessons in their style and at their pace with the benefit of Zichru graphics and animation.
c. Material Handouts for all lessons
d. Online Quizzes
e. Teaching Guidelines and Support

My goal is to give every teacher that adopts the Zichru Program the opportunity to enroll in Zichru Teacher’s Academy rich with online workshops, Q and A’s and support.

How will Zichru be made available to schools?

Zichru will be available to schools on an annual subscription basis.
There will be two different options:

1. School Subscription – This makes the Zichru program available to all faculty members.

2. Classroom Subscription – This option affords a teacher to use the program specifically in his or her classroom.
